The Good News From Denmark

Europe is on the front lines of the Great Jihad, and Denmark is leading the active resistance against the Islamization of Europe.

Two welcome events have come out of Denmark in the last few days, each of them sure to warm the hearts of the Counterjihad — and also to provoke the worst from Islamic Rage Boy (would that be islamisk raseri dreng?) in Denmark and throughout the Muslim world.

Both of these articles feature Islamisk Trossamfund, which is the Danish equivalent of CAIR, according to Kepiblanc. Islamisk Trossamfund is, in effect, threatening reprisals against Denmark after the Vikings failed to show Danish Muslims and their prophet the proper respect.

First, an article from yesterday’s Jyllands-Posten, translated for Gates of Vienna by Kepiblanc.

Pia Kjærsgaard acquitted of libel

Pia KjærsgaardThe chairman of the Danish People’s Party, Pia Kjærsgaard, was today acquitted of libel by using the term “high treason” about resident Muslims’ agitation abroad during the Mohammed cartoon affair. Islamisk Trossamfund [the Danish version of CAIR — translator] is disappointed by the verdict

The court of first instance in Lyngby Friday choose to acquit the chairman of the Danish People’s Party, Pia Kjærsgaard, of libel.

Islamisk Trossamfund had hauled Pia Kjærsgaard into court for calling Muslim imams “traitors”.

Islamisk Trossamfund had demanded DKr. 30,000 ($5,500) as compensation, but ended up having to pay DKr. 40,000 ($7,400) in salaries and costs.

Judge Karen Greve stated in court that the term “high treason” is frequently used in public debate.

Accordingly it was not unlawful when Pia Kjærsgaard in her January 2006 newsletter wrote that resident Muslims’ agitation abroad during the Mohammed cartoon affair was high treason.

Pia Kjærsgaard was not present in court at the verdict, but the Danish People’s Party’s press officer, Soeren Soendergaard, spoke on behalf of the party:

“It is a victory for freedom of speech, but otherwise the whole case is ridiculous, staged as a media stunt by Islamisk Trossamfund.”

The Muslims of Denmark are not done with Ms. Kjærsgaard yet, however. A fatwa is certain to follow.

In fact, the second story concerns an imminent fatwa to be issued against the newspaper that published both these stories.

From an article in Thursday’s Jyllands-Posten, translated for Gates of Vienna by Phanarath and Semantes:

Imam warns of fatwas against Jyllands-Posten

Mohammed crisis: The strife surrounding the impending historical repercussions concerning the principals comes to a head.

Islamisk Trossamfund refuses to accept that the Mohammed Crisis should be filed away as nothing but a dramatic incident in recent Danish history.

With neither apology nor vindication in court, Islamisk Trossamfund still considers the twelve drawings a tale that cannot yet be put to rest.

Islamisk Trossamfund is prepared to yet again send delegations to the Middle East unless an apology is given by Jyllands-Posten, or a court ruling acknowledges that the newspaper offended the honor of Danish Muslims. This time around the delegation will demand that a fatwa be issued against Jyllands-Posten.

Kasem Ahmad“No one has been held responsible for the defamation of our Prophet. Therefore we have no choice other than to ask for a fatwa,” says spokesman Kasem Ahmad. He is supported by Mostafa Chendid, an imam from Islamisk Trossamfund.

Islamisk Trossamfund is currently preparing a civil suit to overturn the provincial ruling favoring Jyllands-Posten, which Islamisk Trossamfund accuses of defamation of honor. But if Jyllands-Posten is acquitted yet again, and should the case be dismissed by the European Human Rights Court in Strasbourg, the next chapter of the story will be written by a religious scholar in The Middle East, Islamisk Trossamfund predicts.

The author Salman Rushdie has, since 1989, lived with a fatwah that constitutes a threat to his life. But Kasem Ahmad emphasizes that Islamisk Trossamfund does not intend to work for a death threat issued against the leadership of Jyllands-Posten, and that a fatwa isn’t necessarily equal to a threat.

He is, however, unable to decide the exact contents of an eventual fatwa, as it is traditionally only the specially trained religious scholars who have the competence to issue a fatwa. It is to these Middle Eastern scholars that the delegation would turn.

Islamisk Trossamfund will be forced to formulate a specific question relating to Jyllands-Posten, since a Fatwah is defined as being the answer to a question.

“A difficult task, as a fatwa only occasionally considers named companies or individuals, but habitually relates to questions of principle,” says Jørgen Bæk Simonsen, Professor of the Carsten Niebuhr Department at the University of Copenhagen.

He also believes that only through extraordinary circumstances might the Islamisk Trossamfund be able to mobilize anger in The Middle East. “But a fatwa can be used as a trump when Muslims worldwide discuss whether the West is abusing Islam,” he says. Jørgen Bæk Simonsen believes that the Islamisk Trossamfund’s request for a fatwa serves to legitimize its views to the Muslim community and society as a whole.

“The Fatwa is proof that religious scholars share the viewpoints of the Islamisk Trossamfund” he says.

Light of eternity

Kasem Ahmad rejects the idea that time has diminished the Middle Eastern anger over the twelve cartoons.

“No Muslim forgets that the Prophet was defamed,” he says, and emphasizes that the Islamisk Trossamfund already has contacts with Middle Eastern imams after their last trip at the end of 2005, and that they are willing to involve Middle Eastern media in the matter.

Carsten Juste, editor-in-chief at Jyllands-Posten:

“I am not surprised that Kasem Ahmad once again adopts an aggressive tone, since he earlier expressed the opinion that the Mohammed case should be considered in the light of eternity.”

Could it be that other European countries are beginning to wake up and follow Denmark's example?

Today - on Bastille Day - France's new president, Nicolas Sarkozy, announced to keep his promise on reducing immigration. From International Herald Tribune :

The French legislation follows a trend also observed in other European countries, although the measures differ widely.

In Austria, the government passed a law restricting the number of family members immigrants are allowed to bring into the country. In the Netherlands, family members have to learn Dutch before their arrival. In Germany, Britain and Italy, resident immigrants have to demonstrate adequate housing and financial provisions to care for any family members arriving from abroad.

Denmark, too, has tightened the rules on family reunification, insisting that a spouse from abroad must be at least 24-years-old to qualify for entry. Danish officials said the rule, which has been criticized by Muslim groups, was introduced to clamp down on arranged or forced marriages in which young Muslim women were being brought into the country, sometimes against their will.

Well, this may be good news (so far) from Denmark, but there's bad news from Holland...

It would appear that kepiblanc's optimism about European countries waking up may be a bit premature. Well, that's as far as their governments are concerned. Most people are awake already, it's the politicians (and the judicial system) that refuse to wake up. Must be realted to the 1974 "Islam for Oil" treaty, signed by European dhimmycrats under blackmail.

R. Hartman, my optimism may be premature, but not miscarried. Cretins like Mrs. Vogelaar are found everywhere - take Sweden's Mona Sahlin or even Denmark's Elisabeth Gerner Nielsen. Any court needs a clown. My optimism about The Netherlands stems from the fact that you voted "NE" to the EUrabian Constitution - not that it matters to the mandarins of the EU (Evil Umpire), but Dutchmen aren't fools: When the bells ring, you'll know how to fix the holes in the dykes.

I have just read the article in Jutland's Posten and clicked on the link to an interview with the leader of the Trossamfund with Jutland's Posten TV. I found the last bit of the interview an absolute gem talk about playing the victim card. What follows now is not a word for word translation just the meaning

calling us traitors puts us in the same boat as those traitors from the second world war who were killed. I fear the same could happen to some of us in our organization. She has pronounced a Fatwa against us. He also mentioned he had not faith in the courts.

Well he wouldn't would he, he didn't get what he wanted, nothing like stamping his little muslim foot. The nice thing is that they have to pay the costs plus compensation revenge is sweet and it is much sweeter because the judgment was handed down by a FEMALE judge. That must really piss him off. I bet you could have boiled a kettle on his head. They will of cause take this to a higher court and the judgment will be rubber stamped. This is now a precedent. They will of cause shoot themselves in the foot if they issue a fatwa, it wont be missed by the Danes that it is alright for the muslims to issue a fatwa but not the Danes. Delegating to yourself the right to decide what a Dane must do and think can be very very dangerous. My advice to this gentleman is don't poke a pointed stick into a sleeping bears ear, especially if he has got a cold Tuborg in his paw, you are asking for a lot of trouble.

Dear Kepi,
I understand how Mr. Hartman feels, if my memory serves me correctly he comes for Utrecht or there abouts. A few months ago a certain Mr Mulder was shot dead by a Moroccan policewoman, in Utrecht. To contain the riots by locals, the police called in the special riot squads from all over the Netherlands and sealed off the area with barb wire. You could only get in and out via gates with armed guards. I think the German word for it was Stalag. Imagine how a patriotic Dutchman feels, Dutchmen kept in a camp by fellow Dutchmen. It can be especially galling when the ratio of NIGNOGS to the local Dutch is approaching 50% and growing, add to this the vaporing of this masochist and you have the recipe for despair. I sympathies with him because I live also in the Netherlands. Like you though I belief that the Dutch will come through but it can be very demoralizing when a member of the Dutch Parliament has to have an armed guard when he wants to go for a piss in the Dutch Houses of Parliament. Things have not yet reached that stage in Congress or the Folketing.

Deep Regards

Have you noticed the spot on Ahmads forehead? I am told that particulary pious muslims put it there, to demonstrate how eager they are in banging their heads into the floor. I´m afrad mr. Ahmad has been too violent with his head :-)

Title: The Madness of Brown

Source: Daily Express

URL Source: http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/13304/The-madness-of-Brown

Published: Jul 13, 2007

Author: Macer Hall

GORDON Brown’s politically correct onslaught intensifed last night as compulsory teaching of the life of Sir Winston Churchill was dropped.

A new school curriculum, unveiled as part of the Prime Minister’s barrage of initiatives, also scrapped the mandatory study of dictators Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. It was instantly branded “madness” by critics.

Instead, secondary school pupils will be taught classes in global warming, healthy eating, Arabic and Urdu. And they will get five-minute “attention-grabbing” lessons in subjects like French and mental arithmetic following claims that today’s youngsters cannot concentrate for long.......

Well the situation is grim indeed; so grim that a wise muslim who came to the west because he wanted the better life that it can offer - without the intention at the back of his head to turn it as swiftly as possible into what he'd just left behind - has this advice: mr. Khudayr Taher thinks that: Europe and America Should Deport All Muslims - Including Myself

[...]

"Countries have the right to defend themselves and assure their citizens' safety from terrorism. Likewise, it is clear that the source of the terrorist crimes in Europe and America is the Muslims who live in these countries.

"The security services cannot know people's intentions and sort out who is the noble immigrant and who is a terrorist criminal. [But] wherever there are Muslims, their presence has produced crimes of terrorism and murder.

"Among those Muslims in Europe and America who do not practice terrorism, most of them do not have loyalty and sincere attachment to these countries that have offered them all of the means of life in dignity - housing, studies, work, and citizenship…

"The legitimate question is this: Since the security services cannot sort out the good immigrant from the bad terrorist… why don't these countries deport all Muslims, of all races, from Europe and America, and [thus] find rest from the danger of terrorism, and protect their peoples?

"I, as an Arab Muslim immigrant, sincerely call on the countries of Europe and America to deport all Muslims from their territories - including myself, despite my love and my sincere attachment to the U.S…

I'm afraid he is right, although people like him are always very welcome to stay and pursue their happiness, as far as I'm concerned...

When the delegation leaves for the Middle East the Danish authorities should pull their citizenship say it was nice knowing you.
